The plot revolves around the ancient and majestic river known as ALTRAZAN (The Old Rosan).
The mystical river with it's living water has been the life force of the valley since the dawn of time. Clerics, setting up monasteries, have learned to harnesed the waters power utilizing it to do anything from make a plant grow better to fuel a fire, even using it for combat reasons.
Well what happens? You guessed it. The river basically dies. What happened? Where did it go? Now our heroes must figure out who or what is responsible and find a way to fix things before time runs out. Along the way, they'll discover that it may just take something bigger than themselves to do the job.
