THE CHARACTERS

Here are the first 4 characters.

Rodin

Rodin is the main character.

Actually there are 4 main characters in this story but Rodin tends to get the spotlight. Rodin is a mouse, hence his name "Rodin" (Rah-din) from the word Rodent. Rodin's awaits his father to return from war and take him with him on his adventures.

NOTE: Contrary to what the picture and above description may infer, Rodin is not a swashbuckling adventure seeking hero with a heart of gold. (Maybe he wishes he was).

I like my main characters to be a little bit rougher around the edges so Rodin is the fatherless problem kid who has a feud with the world. Kind of a "Jim Hawkins type", who as I like to say: "needs a slap upside the head, or a life threatening adventure... Whichever comes first."

Feta

Feta lives with Rodin at the orphanage. She is his best and only friend.

Yes, she's the cute one. Like, the classically cute one. Like sickeningly adorable, in a sort of scene stealing, semi-annoying, "thank heavens she's not the main character" sort of way. And do I smell a hint of attraction between her and Rodin? We've yet to see. Still she's the favorite as you just can't help but love her.

Feta is an orphan like Rodin but she take it better. Always an optimist, she sees every situation as an opportunity and makes the world her playground.

Being a River Rat, Feta is a natural sailor and has become the protege and good friend of three fishermen living on the island.

Felix and Ophelia

These two are brother and sister: in more than one way: They are siblings (possibly twins), but also a monk and a nun in training. Felix and Ophelia are prodigies for their age, showing great potential, if only it could be recognized.

Felix is Rodin's self pointed mentor. As the main character is someone to learn a lesson, this is the character to help give it to him. He is wise beyond his years and an excellent martial artist and water wielder.
Yes it's a cat named Felix. so what? It sounded good as a clerics name.
"Brother Felix"

Ophelia embodies all the proper qualities of a nun. She is kind, caring, reverent, selfless, and can knock some heads when necessary.

Stay TOONED!
